The basic frame For most teen mental-health conditions, the evidence consistently shows three things: Therapy alone works well for mild-to-moderate symptoms.Combination treatment (therapy plus medication) outperforms either alone for moderate-to-severe symptoms.Medication alone is sometimes appropriate but usually underperforms combination treatment.
